The author considers problems concerning participation of Technical Committee-2 members in the Conference "Formal Description of Programming Concepts" with their papers, place and term of the next TC-2 meeting, and some people's critical attitude toward certain IFIP activities.

Dr. G.M. Nijssen asks Dr. M.Paul to propose to the Counsel to give a $2000 aid to have a WG 2.6 meeting in Israel in August 1978. (Agenda Item 11.3.4)
