Call for papers. International Conference on Fifth Generation Computer Systems (FGCS'88) will be held in November 28 - December 2, 1988, in Tokyo, Japan.

The author is proud of the exhibition "Informatik and Automatik" which he built up in the Deutsches Museum. He invites the addressee to participate in a Colloquium in June next year in Munich and to stay during this time in his house.

The author informs of the TC-2 meeting to be held in Munich, March 28-29, and of the WG 2.7 meeting during previous week. He suggests to fill in the enclosed reservation and registration forms ASAP.

The authors thank for the addressee's support and for their being in correspondence with Dr.Zamulin.

The author thinks of the addressee often and hopes to hear soon better news about his health.

The author informs of accepting all the refereed papers presented at the Workshop on Partial Evaluation and Mixed Computation to the special issue of the New Generation Computing Journal. He waits for any comments about enclosed tentative contents of this issue.

The author asks about a modified version of the addressee's paper for the special BIT issue dedicated to Peter Naur. He informs of the major operation Herman Goldstine went through and asks about the addressee's health.

The author is a psychologist and has been doing research on children and computers in public schools. He wants to visit Leningrad and Moscow in the autumn and asks the addressee to help with fellow scientists contacts.

The author discusses in detail the addressee's articles appearing in "Kommunist" and "Informatika i obrazovanie", thanks for the copies of journals, informs that recently he became a grandfather. The author and his wife have been invited to Hungaria next summer and they would like to extend a business trip if the addressee will send a written invitation before April 15.

The author thanks for a meeting at the addressee's institute during his visit last January. He suggests two proposals on a further collaboration that can be discussed at the International Workshop PLILP 88 in Orleans (France, near Paris) in May 16-18, 1988. An information on the Workshop is attached.

The author informs of change of the deadline for a publication of the proceedings on Partial Evaluation and Mixed Computation. The copy of this letter is sent to A.Ershov.

The author gives the necessary information for the execution of his visit to the USSR. He itemizes organizations and scientists that he wishes to visit.

The author is very glad to receive a postcard because he has worried about the addressee's health. He admires the new Kremlin leader, thanks for the favorable review by Agafonov, informs of his own programming language.
