Letter
May

Dear
Andrei Petrovich!
Thank
you for your letter of May 7 that I
received yesterday. Your proposal is
extremely flattering
and alluring. My main doubt is like this:
what can I communicate in my
presentation suggested by
you to 50 most prominent world
specialists in the theory of algorithms
who will gather in Urgench
that would be new and unknown to them?
It must be admitted that for the time
being I do not see an
easy way to remove these doubts – and
at the same time wishing very much to be
of some use in
Urgench.
…
Yours,
V. Uspensky
