Documents associated with Anatoli G. Panteleev Letter (hand-written), A. G. Panteleev ->A.P. Ershov, 29.12.1965 Telegram, A. G. Panteleev ->A.P. Ershov, 16.02.1971 asking whether the missing VKP-2 proceedings copies have been distributed
Note, 06.02.1970Please read out the following two ideas I had no chance to give my view on.
1) Anybody wishing to work on a compiler for the lively Great Russian language please write to the following address:
Moscow, B-465, Giprotis,
To Panteleev Anatoly Georgievich
2) Are computers "computational"? It's time to notice that arithmetic is long since not essential. A traditional name holds traditional view on instruction systems. It is worth considering how to call computers in the future, what instructions became obsolete, and what fundamentally new instructions should be added, and to discuss this at the next conference.
