Thanking for the invitation to the BEN - "Springer-Verlag" joint seminar, explaining the reasons for not being abble to attend, and suggesting some leading specialists as translations' editors

It's a reply to the letter of December 19. The author fully agrees with nominating Prof. M.Broy.

Authors inform of changes in its editorial positions. One of them is opening an office for Springer-Verlag in Santa Barbara, California. They hope for a continuation of the successful working relationship and wish the addressee a Merry Christmas.

The author informs that the russian translation of "The World of Programming Languages" (Marcotty/Ledgard) is already undertaking by Radio y Svyaz Publishing House.
