Dear Vasil Kabulovich!

I’d like to confirm in writing the results of my talk with Babamuradov of August 10.

1. Academician Samarsky is not coming owing to a business trip abroad. Instead of him we
   invited A.O. Slisenko recommended by V.L. Uspensky and N.A. Shanin.

2. Additionally we invited Professor, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, the USSR State Prize
   winner Julia Vladimirovna Kapitonova (UkrSSR AS Institute of Cybernetics) –
   recommended by Academician V.M. Glushkov, and Alexander Viktorovich Karzanov,
   Ph.D., senior researcher from VNII of System Research (Acad. Gvishiani’s Institute)  -
   recommended by G.M. Adelson-Velsky.

3. One must try to find several packs of school color chalk and test the condition of
   blackboards (2-3 blackboards with 5-6 m of aggregate length).

4. It would be fine if the guests having means and interest could stay in Tashkent for a couple
    of extra days after the symposium. The expected amount in 10 persons.
