(Great Britain), age 45.A well-known scientist in the area of theory of programming languages.
Honored member of British Computing Society. Invited speaker at IFIP 1974 Congress. Never
visited the USSR. Has positive attitude towards cooperation with Soviet scientists. His participation
in the symposium is desirable in view of his works in methodology of programming and especially
in formal program transformations.

works in the area of recursive functions, theory of algorithms and mathematical logics.

visited the USSR. Has positive attitude towards cooperation with Soviet scientists. His participation
in the symposium is desirable in view of his works in the area of algorithmic languages,
programming methodology and transformational methods in programming.
