                                            Dear Boris Nikolaevich!

According to decision of Presidium of the SBAS USSR, the 2^nd All-Union
Conference in Programming (VKP-2) will take place in Akademgorodok, February 3-
6. The number of participants is 800 persons.

To ensure successful conference functioning, the Organizing committee begs the
House of Scientists management for the following:

1.      To allow the Great Hall for plenary sessions and international discussion

February 3: 10.00 – 14.00

February 6: 15.30 – 18.30

February 7: 10.00 – 14.00

The requisite services: ticket collection; cloakroom; book stands and registration
tables in the lobby; in the hall: presidium, three microphones (one of them – a
portable one for speakers), audio recording, two large blackboards with chalk and
duster.

2.      To allow the Small Hall for the press conference on 5 February, 19.00. Services:
presidium, microphone, audio recording.

3.      To permit to occupy the room 102 for conference management meetings from
February 1 to February 7.

4.      To demonstrate to the conference participants films from SBAS and House of
Scientists resources on 6 February, 18.30 – 19.30, at the Great Hall.

5.      To authorize meals for a part of the conference participants at the House of
Scientists restaurant from 1 to 7 February.

6.      To allow the House of Scientists Banquet Hall for the reception in honor of
foreign conference participants on 4 February from 19.30.

7.      To allow the House of Scientists restaurant, gym and winter garden for the
reception for conference participants (800 persons) on 6 February from 19.30;
services: cloakroom, buffets, two microphones, radio broadcasting common for
indicated premises.

8.      To provide conference participants with necessary amount of tickets to shows
taking place in the House of Scientists during the conference.
