                                                Scientific and Technical Assignment

To the head of laboratory of the USSR SBAS Computing Center academician A.P. Ershov

and senior researcher of the USSR SBAS Computing Center V.K. Sabelfeld leaving for FRG for the
term of five days in April, 1986.

A.P. Ershov and V.K. Sabelfeld are commissioned with the following:

1. To take part in the IFIP Working Conference in program specification and transformation as
   invited participants.

2. To present the following talks: “ Controlled Mixed Computation and its Application to
   Systematic Construction of Language-Oriented Analyzers” by A.P. Ershov, and “Program
   Flow Analysis Allowing For Operations’ Properties” by V.K. Sabelfeld.

3. As far as possible, to visit the Informatics Institute of the Munich University and get
   acquainted with the Institute’s latest works in CIP project on programs systematic
   development and the use of personal computers in education process. To carry on
   negotiations with the Institute’s management body aimed at ensuring continuity and further
   development of scientific cooperation between the SBAS Computing Center and the
   Informatics Institute.

4. Upon arrival to the country, to notify the Soviet embassy or consulate of the goals and terms
   of the visit.

5. In presentations and talks with foreign colleagues, to use only the data published in public
   press.

6. After returning from the trip, to produce within 5 days a short report and within 30 days - a
   full report on the trip’s results and proposals on realization of foreign experience.
